Microsoft has released a game called Microsoft Flight, this was highly anticipated as a updated, much better version of Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Instead I and many other Flight Simulator fans have been left empty handed. This new Game was released with Games for Windows Live, which was a before unseen product, so we could only hope it would turn out how it was perfect. Unfortunately Microsoft Flight looses many of the features instead of gaining new ones. Making it easier to play, well this feature is definitely useful for those who lack a joystick and definitely something new, however with this many of the more advanced and technical features have been lost. I have to give it another Bonus there is better graphics and it works well on older computers with older hardware. However an issue is when you first load it there is no such thing as free fly. This was the main and best feature in the original Flight Simulators, people want freedom, this freedom could be in any form. Just a freedom to do what they want, with their own ways as their transport.
I am very disappointed there is now option to lower the settings such as the amount of traffic and scenery. I’m going to cut this short because personally I believe Microsoft Flight to be the biggest disappointment they have ever produced. This caused me to have an even worse experience with Flight then I did with Windows Vista. I still believe that Microsoft Flight Simulator X is the best Flight Simulation game on the market despite being released nearly 6 years ago. I really do hope that Microsoft realise how bad Flight really is.
